1.Stop moving and take a sit:

Stomach ache is uncomplicated to treat. Don’t move when you are having stomach ache. Movement can increase the pain by shaking the stomach. So, sit still immediately.

2.Give your stomach a break:

When stomach soreness starts, it’s better not to take any food unless the root is empty stomach. Don’t take any food that is acidic in nature.

3.Take rest:

When you pass a stressful day, there’s a chance of stomach ache. So, if you face stomach ache after completing a busy day then take a warm shower, ease yourself and take have a rest. Rest will boost your body’s normal compensation mechanism.

4.Try a warm pack:

Warm pack is very constructive in case of stomach ache. It can relax the muscle. You will need a hot water bag for packing. You can choose any comfortable temperature for compression. After that, rest the hot water bag on your belly. You can do this as long as you want. If you don’t have the hot water bag then you can use a heating pad.

5. Sometimes massage can be useful:

Sometimes Abdominal massage gives a good result. Circular motion movement over stomach by index and middle finger can be useful.

6.Antacid is the drug of choice for quick relief:

7.Simethicone is for excess gas:

Sometimes gas in the stomach can cause stomach ache. It produces bloating sound. Simethicone can be very effective in this kind of situation. It has the ability to clear excess gas from the stomach.

8.Take a cup of Chamomile tea:

Stomach ache can occur due to the spasm of the smooth muscle. If we make this smooth muscle relax then pain will reduce. Sometimes inflammation of the lining epithelium causes stomach pain. Chamomile tea can be very effective in that case. Chamomile tea has anti inflammatory properties and it can reduce the muscle spasm.


1. 1-2 teaspoon of dried Chamomile tea. You can also use a teabag of Chamomile.

1. A glass of warm water
2. 2 teaspoon of honey

Simply mix the honey with a glass of warm water and drink up. If you are a patient of diabetes mellitus then don’t follow this step.

10.Drink milk with club soda:

Most widespread cause for the stomach pain is excess gas in the stomach. Drink milk mixing with pain club soda can give you an immediate relieves in this case.

You will need:
1. Half glass of Cows milk.
2. Half glass of plain club soda.

Mix plain club soda with milk. Now drink it.

11.Ginger root tea is a natural pain reliever:

Health benefits of ginger are acknowledged by all. Ginger contains an ingredient gingerols. It has the ability to reduce muscle cramp. You already know that, muscle spasm can cause stomach ache.
You will need:
1. A cup of boiled water.
2. Root of ginger.
3. Honey or sugar for taste.


Add fresh ginger root in the boiled water and heated again for 2-3 minutes. Now you can add honey or sugar for increasing taste.

12.Eat ripe banana:

Overall health benefits of banana are not comparable. Banana contains minerals like potassium; calcium etc. Sometimes potassium deficiency can cause stomach pain. So eat a ripe banana and wait for the result. You can also choice Adzuki, prunes, apricots’ other than banana because these items also include potassium.

13.Warm lemon juice:

Warm lemon juice is very helpful if stomach pain cause due to indigestion. Lemon juice contains citric acid. It also increases the acid secretion from the stomach. This acid will break the food that present in the stomach and relieve from pain.

14.Eat yogurt:

Yogurt is natural remedy against stomach ache. It contains healthy probiotics that boost the bodies’ defense system. Abdominal upset can cause stomach ache. Daily Yogurt consumption can decrease the chance of irritable bowel syndrome as well as stomach ache.

15.Drink a glass of baking soda:

Baking soda is also useful in stomach ache. A glass of water with 2 table spoon of baking soda can be effective.

16.Some foods that should avoid:

During stomach ache, don’t take fatty food or carbonated beverage. Fatty food can exaggerate the condition. Also too much caffeine can cause stomach pain. So during stomach ache, avoid coffee or tea.
