This is my favorite way of diminishing tan. Vitamin C present in cucumber helps to reduce the sun tan. There are a few ways of using cucumber.
- Take 1 tbsp of cucumber juice and add with it 1 tsp of honey. Then apply this mixture on those tan areas. Massage for about 15 minutes and then rinse it off with cold water.
- Secondly, take one fresh cucumber and cut it in 4. It means first cut it in half then again cut those half pieces again half. Now gently cut the seed area and keep it in refrigerator. After returning home from outside rub those cold seeds of the cucumber on your face. This will soothe the tan area. Also it will protect the skin from upcoming tan on your face.
2. ALMOND:
Almond seems to be effective for many skin related problems. Soak 4-5 almonds in water for a long time. Then blend it with some rose water or milk to make a fine paste.
Then apply the mixture on your face before going to bed at night. In the morning wash it off with cold water. Continue this application of almond for whole 1 week. Then after 1 week apply the mixture twice a day.
3. CREAM OF MILK:
Cream of milk is also effective for sun tan and it also helps to whiten your skin color. Take 2-3 tbsp of milk cream and add with it a pinch of turmeric. Now apply it on your face and keep the mixture till its dry. Then rinse it off with cold water. This will make your skin smooth and will reduce sun tan.
4. ALOE VERA GEL:
Aloe Vera gel helps to lighten your skin tan color. Apply the Aloe Vera gel on the affected area regularly before going to bed. Then in the morning wash it off with clean water. You can also apply the gel before going for a bath.
5. TURMERIC:
Turmeric enlightens your skin tone. It also helps to clear your blood vessel. Take one glass of milk then add with it 1/2 tsp of turmeric. Now drink the milk. Try to continue this method for about 15 days. You can also chew raw turmeric with honey. This is an inner process which will help to reduce sun tan from inside the body.
6. SANDALWOOD:
Sandalwood is a traditional beauty care product which is being used over centuries. It has certain anti-aging properties. It also contains lightening agent which enlightens our skin tone from tan. Take 2 tablespoon of sandalwood powder and mix it well with some milk to make a thick paste.
Now apply it on your face and also to affected areas. After the paste is dry on your face then rinse it off with cold water. Those who have dry skin they can add a bit of honey to moisture their skin.
7. COCONUT WATER:
Coconut water is very helpful in removing tan. Take a cotton ball and dab it in fresh coconut water. Then apply it on the affected areas. Keep it on your skin until it’s dry. Repeat this method thrice a day.
8. GROUND RICE:
Ground rice works as the scrubbing agent. If you having a serious tan problem you can use ground rice.
Take 2 tbsp of ground rice and add with it a pinch of turmeric and 1/2 tsp of honey. Then make a thick paste using milk or rose water. Then apply the mixture on the affected area.
Then gently with soft posture massage the affected area. Pay attention when you are massaging your face. Face is a sensitive place that’s why carefully massage face with soft hand posture. Use this mixture twice a week.
9. TOMATO JUICE:
This is my mom’s typical invention. Tomato helps to make our skin look fresh and young. Take 2 medium sized tomato and peel of the skin. Now mash those tomatoes and add with it 1/2 tsp of orange juice and 1 tbsp of honey.
Now keep that mixture in ice tray to make tomato cubes out of it. After returning home you can take out 1 tomato cube and rub the frozen tomato mixture on the exposed area. This will help to reduce sun tan and also will control sun tan forming on your skin.
10. PAPAYA:
Take 1 cup of ripe papaya and mash it. Now add with it a 2 tbsp of milk and 1tap of orange juice. Now apply the mixture on the affected area and keep it for about 20-25 minutes.
Then rinse it off with cold water. This will help to reduce the rash which causes due to sun tan.
MEDICATED WAYS TO GET RID OF TAN:
1. SUNBLOCK:
There are many branded sun blocks which contain SPF of more than 15 to many more. Before going outside you can apply Sun block to the exposed area of your skin.
2. CHEMICAL PEELS:
Chemicals peels are effective remedies. But it makes your skin even more sensitive. If you are applying chemical peel then you must have to apply sun block which contains a high SPF.
3. USE OF BEADS:
This is an aged old process of removing tan. In this method you will be given some treatments with beads which will even out your skin complexity. It cleans your skin beautifully and makes your skin moisturized.
